Ry Lodge offers great nature experiences with pilgrim accommodation, hunting and fishing in focus.
Ry is a living farm with roots dating back to the 17th century as an estate under Nidaros bishop. We are idyllic located in Rennebu with the possibility of salmon fishing in Orkla and accommodation for pilgrims and other travellers. Explore what we have to offer and book a room today.
Accomodation and salmon fishing in beautiful sourroundings
Accomodation
Accommodation is offered for pilgrims with dogs in a barn (double bed), or in a cabin with its own kitchen and 3 beds. Toilet and shower are available in the farm building. Accommodation also in residential buildings with 10 beds in 2-bed rooms, shared toilet and shower on the same floor.
The Orangerie pilgrim cafeteria on the farm has a liquor license for beer and wine and sells lunch dishes. The cafeteria is also open for breakfast and dinner service for overnight guests.
Salmon fishing
Fishing and accomodation packages for up to ten people
We have both house and river with plenty of space for 10 anglers. There are a total of 11 beds in 5 double rooms and a sleeping alcove. There is one shared bathroom and toilet in the building, as well as two bathrooms and one toilet in a converted utility building. The accommodation has a simple standard in authentic surroundings in trønderlån built in 1852.
Hammock Camp
Ry Lodge offers hammock camping and tent pitches for pilgrims and other travellers.
After a night in the hammock or tent by the river you can start the day with a fresh morning swim in Røssdammen. Make breakfast and coffee on the fire pan or in a gap hut with a gas burner with access to saucepans and a coffee kettle. It is set up outside. The birds are chirping and the river flows quietly by.
